NALC supports organizing Delta flight attendants
In June, a group of Delta flight attendants formed an organizing committee to take the next step in their campaign to join the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA, AFL-CIO.
162 Installations added to all-career model
NALC and USPS have agreed on two additional memorandums of agreement (M-01988) pursuant to the May 24, 2022, Memorandum of Understanding Re: City Delivery Staffing Adjustment – Hiring Part-Time Flexible City Letter Carriers (M-01986).

What to do if you do not receive an NALC ballot
If you are eligible to vote and do not receive a ballot by Friday, Oct. 7, or if you have spoiled your ballot or need another ballot for any reason, you must notify a branch officer to request a duplicate ballot.
Notification to NALC Election Candidates

Today, in a voice vote, the House Committee on Ways and Means approved the Social Security Fairness Act of 2021 (H.R. 82).
Customer Connect has been upgraded
In July, city letter carriers were able to begin entering their own customer connect leads and receiving feedback on their submitted leads through the Mobile Delivery Device (MDD), when they are on street mode under option “U”.
NALC ballot printing delayed until Sept. 20
It is now planned that beginning on Sept. 20 and continuing until completion, components of the election mailing will be printed.

Eight additional installations to convert CCAs to career status and directly hire career letter carriers
On Aug. 31, NALC and USPS signed another memorandum of agreement which provides for an additional eight installations in which the Postal Service will convert all city carrier assistants to part-time flexible (PTF) career status.
Election committee appointed
In accordance with Article 6, Section 7 of the NALC Constitution, on August 11, NALC President Fredric Rolando appointed a National Election Committee to oversee the conduct of the 2022 election of national officers.
