Letter carrier deaths due to coronavirus now up to 10

NALC is deeply saddened to learn it has now been confirmed that six more letter carriers have recently passed away due to complications related to coronavirus. 

John Consilvio, a member of NALC Branch 693, worked at the White Plains, NY Post Office. He was 65 years old at the time of his passing. He began his letter carrier career in October 1993. 

Ivoral Davidson, an NALC Branch 2550 member and letter carrier at the Sunrise Branch of the Fort Lauderdale, FL Post Office was 59 years old.  This coming October, he would have celebrated is 7-year anniversary as a letter carrier. 

Angela Hampton, an NALC Branch 2550 member and letter carrier at the Lauder Ridge Carrier Annex in Fort Lauderdale, FL began delivering mail in October 1994. Sister Hampton was 56 years old at the time of her passing. 

Nazmul Haque worked at the Williamsbridge Post Office in the Bronx, NY, and has been a letter carrier for almost 16 years.  He was 56 years old.   

Tamika Shields, a member of NALC Branch 1, worked at the Livonia, MI Post Office. She was 46 years old at the time of her passing. Sister Shields began her letter carrier career in September 2017.

Kevin Urquhart, an NALC Branch 6000 member and letter carrier at the Uniondale, NY Post Office was 66 years old. In just a few weeks, he would have celebrated his 24th anniversary as a letter carrier.
