Delegates put their words into action by joining an AFL-CIO "Paychecks Pay the Bills" rally in downtown Los Angeles; President Rolando addressed the crowd and media, explaining how eliminating a day of delivery would cost 80,000 jobs in an economy that can ill afford any more job losses; AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka explains that jobs are the no. 1 issue for the labor movement; the MDA ambassador thanks delegates who attended the MDA workshop for their charitable efforts; and NALC honored eight retired or retiring officers at the Retiring Officers' Dinner.
