With this important election coming up soon and with early voting beginning in many places, NALC President Fredric Rolando urges letter carriers to make sure they’re registered to vote and to turn out to vote as soon as possible.

“One of the most important things letter carriers can do this election is vote,” Rolando said. “For the 55,000 letter carriers who are not registered voters, I urge you to sign up today. This election is too important to sit out.

“Many states have updated their voting laws between last election and now,” Rolando said, “so it’s important that voters double-check that they’re still registered and to cast their ballots as soon as possible.”
