Bringing our message to New York, Kansas

Sept. 26, 2011 -- The Postal Service would not be in the financial mess that it’s in if Congress had not required it to set aside funds for retiree health benefits for countless employees who have not yet been hired—or in some cases, born. That's the message NALC President Fredric V. Rolando brought to The Buffalo News Sept. 24 in a visit to that city that combined a retirement dinner with media interviews about the future of the Postal Service.
