Mandates given USPS unrealistic

Sept. 4, 2012 -- On Aug. 31, NALC President Fredric Rolando's letter to the editor ran in The Columbian [WA], explaining that the congressional mandate to pre-fund future retiree health benefits accounts for most of USPS' red ink. Rolando's letter was written in response to an Aug. 24 editorial.
