Letter carriers on the radio

August 7, 2012 -- On Monday, August 6, NALC President Fredric Rolando was a guest, alongside Rep. Dennis Ross (R-FL), on today's "Laura Ingraham Show" for a discussion about the real reasons behind the Postal Service's financial problems. Ingraham's nationally syndicated program airs at various times during the day over hundreds of radio stations, reaching an estimated 6 million listeners.

Then on Monday afternoon, President Rolando was on "StandUp!" on Sirius/XM "POTUS" Channel 124. This show reaches a sophisticated political audience, coast to coast. Host Pete Dominick well understood the explanation for the manufactured postal financial crisis and the NALC's ideas for some solutions.


On Tuesday, August 7, NALC Region 11 National Business Agent Dan Toth was a guest on the WERE/America's Work Force Radio in Cleveland and spoke with host Ed "Flash" Ferenc about the reasons behind the Postal Service's so-called "default."


On Thursday, August 2, NALC Region 15 National Business Agent Larry Cirelli was a guest on the WWRL (New York) Morning Show to talk with host Mark Riley about the Postal Service's financial situation.
